Experience
For 30 years I have had the privilege to help people with depression, anxiety, relationships, LGBTQ issues, and stress. In addition, for more than 20 years, I have been a staff psychologist at the Johnson Rehabilitation Institute at JFK Medical Center, helping people who are struggling to cope with cognitive changes, new disabilities and chronic medical conditions such as early dementia, heart disease, pulmonary disease, diabetes and chronic pain.
Education
- B.A. in Psychology, Cornell University, Ithaca, New York.
- Masters and Ph.D. in Psychology, Columbia University, New York City.
- Pre-doctoral internship, including Neuropsychology and Health Psychology rotations, Manhattan Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
- Postdoctoral fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology, Center for Head Injuries, Edison, NJ.
